The UEFA champions league group stage matches start later today. Qualification phase for teams in countries with low UEFA co-efficient ranking battling for a chance in the group stage has been played. And the victors are now known with the teams now among the already qualified teams.
Qualification teams include the likes of Ajax and Olympiacos. Others are Dinamo Zagreb, Slavia Prague, Red Star Belgrade and Club Brugge of Belgium. Ajax had to also participate despite winning the Eredivisie league and getting to the semi-finals of the UEFA champions league last year.
