Africa cup of Nations 2019

The TOTAL 2019 Africa cup of Nations is the 32nd edition of the biennial competition. The tournament will hold in Egypt from June 21st-July 19th. Cameroon was chosen to host but CAF later stripped them of hosting rights. This was because of non-compliance to proposed standards by CAF. Confederation of African Football (CAF) headquartered in the city of Cairo, Egypt is the organiser of the tournament.

Cairo, Alexandria, Suez and Port Said are the four host cities for this competition. Six stadium venues have been chosen from amongst them. The venues include Cairo International Stadium, Alexandria Stadium, Al Salam Stadium. Haras El Hodoud stadium, Egyptian Army Stadium and Suez stadium complete the set. Egypt will kick off the tournament against Zimbabwe at the Cairo international stadium on Friday.
